Two shootings in South Africa kill 27
Two separate shootings near Johannesburg and Cape Town killed 27 people, and South African police were searching for suspects Sunday. One attack at a tavern in Wedela township killed 17 people and injured 15 on Saturday evening. Authorities were investigating whether an illegal-mining turf dispute was behind one shooting and a business rivalry was behind the other.
